The Saturday after Thanksgiving, Ryan's family goes down to Manti to cut down Christmas trees! This has been such a fun tradition to marry into! This year there was a TON of snow and it was FREEZING! This was also Amelia's first year getting a tree! Because Millie is still so little we just sat in Ryan's 4 runner most of the time because it was too cold for her. Next year will be more fun when she's able to walk around and not Nursing. It also wouldn't be a Christensen tradition if something didn't go wrong! When we were getting ready to leave, someone locked Scott's (Ryan's dad) keys in the truck while it was running! After about 20 min and using a hot dog roasting stick they were able to jimmy rig the window to unlock the door. If that wasn't bad enough, when we got back down the mountain to pick up the trailers, Braden's (Ryan's brother) jeep went off the road and into the ditch. His wheels were just about off the road! A nice man with a big truck and chain helped pull him out! Luckily nothing else happened!;) I'm grateful I married into a family who has fun traditions. I'm looking forward to keeping this tradition with our children!
